The warmer weather is a welcome change after a rainy Thursday. I hope you can get out and enjoy it before the snow threatens to return next week.
Weekend Fun
Salisbury has quite a weekend planned. The fun starts tonight, Friday, February 7 with our TGIF event featuring happy hour specials and tastings from Diageo Hospitality, no reservation required. The FootJoy Shoe-a-Palooza continues in the Pro Shop now through Sunday, February 9, offering markdowns on 80 different types of Men's and Women's Shoes. Our first golf event of the year is this Sunday, February 9 where we bring the Super Bowl Spirit to the Short Game. Members are encouraged to wear their favorite football team's jersey, compete in golf challenges and meet our new Director of Golf, Scott Graber. Finally, our pre-ordered Super Bowl To Go Meals will be available for pick up, before the big game this Sunday, February 9 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is only a week away, and there's still space at our annual Valentine's Day Dinner. Event features a specially selected three-course meal and live music with the Lawrence Olds Jazz Trio. Register on the Club Calendar by Tuesday, February 11 for this event on Friday, February 14.

Please note Grill 63 and the Cedar Lounge will be closed at 4:00 PM on Friday, February 14 to accommodate our Valentine's Dinner event. The Tap Room will remain open and serving a limited lunch menu.
Blood Drive
I want to thank members for their generous participation during our annual Blood Drive this past Tuesday. We saw great attendance and were able to make a marked difference in supplying this life-saving resource.
Summer Tennis
It's already time to start planning for summer. Announced earlier this week, Salisbury will be offering three full day tennis camps. Each camp will feature instruction, games, lunch and time in the pool. Camps will be held June 9 - 12, July 21 - 24 and August 11 - 14. Registration is open now on the Club Calendar. Employee Recognition
Briana Owens (Facilities) and Dana Ford (Golf Maintenance) were recognized by their peers and acknowledged by Salisbury's Employee Recognition Committee earlier this week. Their hard work and dedication to our staff's core values of positivity, respect, integrity, dependability and enthusiasm is undeniable. If you see them around campus, congratulate them on a job well done.

 

Upcoming Events
Event Highlight: Men's Tennis Member/Member
Our largest tournament of the winter, the Men's Member/Member is four days of intense play between multiple divisions from February 18-21. Matches will begin as the workday ends, so many members can plan to participate. But the fun is not limited to tennis - food, drink and socialization are also included. No partner, no problem - let the Pros know and they'll get you paired up. Please register on the Club Calendar by February 15.
